On this page
KLOW is four peptides in one vial, which means four identities to confirm, four masses to find on a spectrum and three different storage sensitivities to reconcile. It is the most complex product we stock, and most of the questions it raises are about the certificate rather than the chemistry. This page covers the composition, how KLOW relates to GLOW, what a four-component report has to show, and ordering within the United States.
Composition
Our KLOW 80 mg is co-lyophilised from:
- GHK-Cu, 50 mg: the 1:1 copper(II) complex of Gly-His-Lys. Free tripeptide mass near 340 Da; the complex is heavier and is what gives the powder its blue colour.
- BPC-157, 10 mg: fifteen residues, mass near 1,419 Da.
- TB-500, 10 mg: the acetylated heptapeptide fragment of thymosin beta-4, mass near 889 Da.
- KPV, 10 mg: Lys-Pro-Val, the C-terminal tripeptide of alpha-MSH, mass near 342 Da.
The name is an acronym of the four. Three of them are stocked on their own with their own pages: GHK-Cu USA, BPC-157 USA and TB-500 USA. KLOW’s components in the research literature covers each one, and KPV identity analysis covers the one that is not sold separately.
KLOW and GLOW
GLOW is KLOW without the KPV: GHK-Cu 50 mg, BPC-157 10 mg and TB-500 10 mg, 70 mg in total. If KPV is not part of your work, GLOW 70 mg is the same material with one fewer variable to account for. Either way the copper peptide dominates by mass, at 62.5% of KLOW and about 71% of GLOW. Our GLOW vs KLOW comparison sets the two out, and GLOW composition analysis covers the three-component certificate.
What a four-component certificate must show
A reversed-phase chromatogram of KLOW should show four resolved peaks. GHK-Cu and KPV are small and polar and elute early; TB-500 next; BPC-157, with its three prolines, is retained longest. Each peak should be assigned by mass, roughly 340, 342, 889 and 1,419 Da, and a good report states the content of each. A single purity percentage for the whole vial with no breakdown has not characterised the product.
The one trap is GHK-Cu against KPV: they are only 2 Da apart, so the mass trace alone will not separate them. Retention time does, because the copper complex behaves very differently on the column from the free tripeptide. Purity and composition in multi-peptide vials walks through the reading, co-elution covers the failure mode, and GHK-Cu registry numbers and masses explains why the copper peptide’s reported mass depends on how it is written.
Copper in solution
Copper(II) is redox-active. In the dry powder this is irrelevant; in solution it can catalyse oxidation of the other components over days at room temperature. None of the three other peptides contains methionine, which limits the damage, but reconstituted KLOW should still be used promptly or frozen in aliquots. A clear blue solution is a quick visual check that the copper is still bound. GHK-Cu copper coordination explains the complex.
Storage
Lyophilised KLOW is stable at minus 20 °C in a sealed vial and tolerates ambient transit. Reconstitute in water or dilute buffer, aliquot, keep frozen and avoid repeated freeze-thaw. Because the four components adsorb to surfaces at different rates, a dilute working solution does not keep its original ratio indefinitely; prepare dilutions fresh and use low-bind tubes. Peptide adsorption has the detail.
Ordering in the USA
KLOW ships domestically within the United States, with no import processing. USPS, UPS and FedEx services are offered at checkout, dispatch is within one business day and typical transit is two to five days. Published certificates are on the certificates page, and the price list shows what the blend costs per milligram against buying the components separately.
Research use only
KLOW from ExoLabz is a laboratory reference material for in vitro and analytical research. It is not a drug, not a cosmetic, and not for human or veterinary use, and we do not provide dosing or administration information. The purity guarantee applies to every vial.
