About Epitalon 10mg
Epitalon is a four-residue peptide, Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly, derived from work on pineal gland extracts. The laboratory interest in it concerns telomerase activity and telomere length in cultured human somatic cells, along with reported effects on gene expression in fibroblast lines.

Analytical note — Epithalon. A four-residue peptide of small polar amino acids with no aromatic side chain, so it has essentially no absorbance at 280 nm and must be read on the peptide bond near 214 nm. It retains weakly and elutes close to the solvent front.
