Two to three business days is the ground band into Alabama, whether the parcel comes off the Memphis hub or the Atlanta one, with Mobile and the Gulf coast at the far end of it. No part of that band is spent at a border. Our US facility ships domestically, and a domestic parcel is one that no broker handles, that no duty is charged on, that no customs step applies to and that no clearance queue holds up.

Shipping to Alabama
Most Alabama parcels pass through either the Memphis or the Atlanta hub before the last leg into the state. Birmingham and Huntsville receive earliest, Montgomery and Tuscaloosa follow, and Mobile and the Gulf coast generally need an extra half day, since the final drive south from either hub covers a good deal more ground. The handling factor to note is humidity more than heat: a vial carried from an air-conditioned lab into muggy Gulf air will fog, which is why a sealed vial should be allowed to reach room temperature before it is opened.
| Destination | Ground band | Routing note |
|---|---|---|
| Birmingham | Two to three business days | Among the first in the state |
| Huntsville | Two to three business days | Among the first in the state |
| Montgomery and Tuscaloosa | Two to three business days | After the Memphis or Atlanta hub |
| Mobile and the Gulf coast | Two to three business days | Typically half a day behind Birmingham |
Reach us before the daily cut-off and the Alabama order ships that day; after it, the next business day. Pickup is when the carrier’s tracking number goes out by email. Past $200 USD the ground shipping is free, with expedited options offered at checkout alongside it. Every other state’s band is on our delivery time table.
Receiving on Alabama campuses
When an Alabama university or hospital shows as delivered, the box has normally reached a central dock and still has to be carried to the lab. That internal step can take a few hours or a whole working day. The larger Alabama campuses deserve particular planning here, especially where one receiving department serves many buildings. Smaller labs in the Huntsville research park and elsewhere are more likely to sign at the door and see the parcel within minutes.
For an Alabama recipient, humidity is the one thing to watch. The powder ships dry and handles ambient transit, but a sealed vial taken out of an air-conditioned room into Gulf air will gather condensation straight away. Waiting until the vial reaches room temperature before the seal is broken avoids that, a point that matters more in Mobile in August than in Huntsville in January, and scheduling the delivery for a staffed day keeps the parcel off an empty dock in the first place.
With the parcel open, the vials want comparing against the enclosed paperwork before any of them is stored. Printed batch numbers appear nowhere on our vials, so it is cap and crimp color that the documents identify each one by, and the count ought to match what was ordered. The complete routine is in our checks for an incoming parcel.
Storage once it arrives
Find out first whether the shared freezer is a frost-free model. Units of that kind clear their ice by warming up on a timer, and stored vials should be spared precisely that cycling; the defrost-cycle problem explains how to find out and what to do about it.
Two days unrefrigerated on a truck sits well inside what freeze-dried material will take, and tells you nothing whatever about how the vial should be kept once it is in the building. Dry vials have holding conditions for short periods and for long ones, set out in dry-vial holding conditions. Solutions raise a different set of questions again, and those belong to choosing what to dissolve it in and freeze-thaw effects on peptide solutions.
Who we supply in Alabama
Alabama’s research volume sits in two quite different clusters. Birmingham carries the biomedical and genomics work centered on its university medical campus, while Huntsville has an aerospace and biotechnology corridor with more small contract laboratories than a city of its size would usually support. Birmingham, Huntsville, Montgomery, Mobile and Tuscaloosa take most of our Alabama shipments.
The two clusters also receive differently. Birmingham orders often land at a large medical center dock with an internal round behind it, whereas many Huntsville customers are small firms that take the box at reception. Tuscaloosa and Mobile, with their university campuses, sit closer to the Birmingham pattern. Montgomery, as the state capital, adds state agency and university laboratories that also tend to route parcels through a central office before they reach the requesting group.
One consequence is worth drawing out. The compound mix differs between the two clusters as much as the receiving practice does, because Birmingham’s biomedical and genomics groups and Huntsville’s contract laboratories are buying for different reasons and on different timescales, and a contract lab’s deadline usually belongs to somebody else. That is the practical argument for raising a required delivery date at the point of ordering rather than afterward.
Two conditions, with no exceptions to either. The buyer is a research institution, a university, a licensed researcher or a laboratory R&D purchaser. And the buyer, never ExoLabz, is the one who establishes that a compound can lawfully be received and held at the Alabama address, reading the state’s own controlled substance schedules as well as federal law. How the schedules are checked explains how both are read.
Catalog
The catalog divides into the eight classes shown here, and under each of them a compound’s own page carries its identity data and the analytical notes taken on it. Every one of those classes is held at our US facility, so an Alabama purchase ships the day it is placed or the following business morning, which matters rather more to a Huntsville contract lab working to a client deadline than it does to most buyers.

Larger quantities, or deliveries on a regular cycle, can be priced from our bulk order service. There is a checklist in screening a research peptide supplier, and it is worth running over any vendor at all, us as much as the next one.
Certificates of analysis
Coverage is incomplete, in that some compounds have no report at all. Where one does exist it is published unaltered on the certificates of analysis page, and it speaks only for the production lot named on it.
What the purity result gives is an RP-HPLC area percentage. A report is worked through in reading the document section by section, and comparing prices properly is the business of what net peptide content means.
Regulatory position
A lab ordering into Alabama that checks federal status alone has done half the job, because the state keeps controlled substance schedules of its own. As to the products themselves: approval by the FDA, none. Sale or description for human consumption, none. For clinical use or for veterinary use, none either. Research peptide regulation nationally holds the wider framework, and the sale runs under our terms and conditions.
Alabama questions
Is there somewhere in Alabama to pick peptides up in person?
No. There is no pickup point in Alabama; we are mail order only, dispatched from Utah as a tracked FedEx Express parcel, usually within one business day, with certificates of analysis for tested lots published online.
What is the transit band into Alabama?
Two to three business days on ground for most of the state, with Mobile and the Gulf coast sometimes running half a day behind.
Is there a customs step for Alabama?
No. The parcel moves entirely within the United States, so no border, no duty, no brokerage and no clearance come into it.
Do you deliver to Alabama home addresses?
The delivery address should be a research site. Our buyers are laboratory R&D purchasers, research institutions, licensed researchers and universities.
What does a certificate tell me about a lot?
It will not tell you about sterility, and it will not tell you about endotoxin; some compounds have no report at all yet. What it does tell you, for the one lot named on it, is the identity of the compound together with a purity measurement made by RP-HPLC, mass spectrometry confirming identity where that applies.
Does Gulf humidity affect an Alabama delivery?
Not in transit, where the powder travels at ambient temperature and needs no cold chain. Condensation is the real issue, and it arises when a cool sealed vial meets humid air: let the vial come up to room temperature before the seal is broken, and keep the delivery off an unstaffed dock.
